Time wind

  Time wind   Progress is a funny thing since it is hard to see it. It might be right there in front of you but as you get used to it and look into the future it doesn’t seem important. It seems like the basics or normal, you forget the struggles you had just to reach that point. It is amazing to get to that point but for you it holds no meaning. People around you can admire you for it and that is when it hits you but to what degree? Will you think of them as lower beings since they can’t reach the state of normality or will you feel good about being better for some time? In the end it wont matter. Its like a child being praised for picking up a rock. How long could you feel good about it? Why not be a computer program that will praise you every minute or every time you make an action? What is the difference? Its not a real human? How real is a human that systematically praises you for nothing? So, you need to keep advancing and meet your own goals to really be happy, but ...

Bonding

  17. Bonding As we get back to the others, they look surprised and fearful. Susie is covered in the snakes´ blood after all. Oh yeah, I guess I have a big snake with me too. “Everything is alright. We were only practicing with Susie and these snakes. Charles do you want to cook the snake?” Charles comes and nods while taking the mangled corpse of the snake from my hand. The other snake tries to struggle but I keep it under control. The children look at the snakes with fear. “We will start encountering a lot of snakes from now on. There are small ones and big ones and they could be in the trees or holes in the ground. Get used to them since I might not be able to keep an eye out for everyone.” The lizard kids look even more scared now. So does Lillie. Evening

10. Evening. I suppress my heartbeat and the mana flow and walk calmly in the forest while dodging twigs and brushes. The forest is quiet and calming to walk in and as I go deeper in, I start to relax. There are small critters and birds here and there, but I ignore them since eating them wouldn’t give much sustenance and it could scare away bigger pray. I end up near a lake where the lake shines  from the setting sun, the blue water makes the scenery look tranquil. At the edge of the water there are creatures drinking it and laying down on the ground. They have three horns on the back of their head and their fur is brown with green hue. If I remember correctly, they are called loperdeers, where I come from there are similar creatures, but they are different color and they have more horns. They would have also noticed me already since their perception and speed is the reason why they can survive other creatures. I walk toward them and prepare to jump at one ...
